Hadrian’s Wall – Walking Routes

May 7, 2017

Hadrian’s Wall has put together a series of over 15 walking routes ranging from 2 to 8 miles so that you can experience the best walking in Hadrian’s Wall Country, its historic sites, museums and attractions – and of course, a few pubs, cafes and restaurants along the way!

The Northern Frontier Of A Mighty Empire That Once Covered The Known World

For around three centuries, Hadrian’s Wall was a vibrant, multi-cultured frontier sprawling almost 80 miles coast-to-coast. Built by a force of 15,000 men in under six years, it’s as astounding today for its sheer vision as it is for its engineering. Milecastles, barracks, ramparts and forts punctuate a diverse landscape that provides a dramatic backdrop.

Our holiday cottage in Harbottle is well placed for visiting Hadrian’s Wall and the surrounding area, or you could explore in our VW California campervan. Both are new to the market this year and have good availability at the moment – contact us for more information.

We are a new family start-up business looking to add more holiday cottages and camper vans to our portfolio. Connect to our Facebook page for the latest news, offers and information.
