Short-breaks and full weeks available
Our self-catering holiday cottages are very well placed for visiting all that award-winning Northumberland has to offer including a stunning National Park, more castles than anywhere else in England, UNESCO World Heritage Site Hadrian’s Wall Country, Kielder Water & Forest (the largest working forest in England and the biggest man-made lake in Europe), the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Beamish Museum as well as numerous National Trust and English Heritage sites. We are also ideally located for walking, mountain biking and cycling holidays, relaxing, stargazing, fishing, golf and horse riding. There really is something for everyone!
Our cottages have lots of tourist information and maps in them to ensure guests get the most out of their visit – and our ‘Things to Do’, ‘Out and About’ and ‘Days Out’ pages may give you some ideas to look into before you arrive.
Both cottages are graded VisitEngland 4* and inspected annually. They are family friendly and suitable for guests with or without dogs, accommodating up to 4/5 guests and 2 dogs for a short-break, a full week or longer. The cottages are very well equipped and we can also provide a travel cot, high chair, dog crate and stair gates to save space in your car or if you are using public transport. Our customer reviews are excellent.
