Out & About: on a coastal walk from Seaton Sluice to St. Mary’s Island with our dog today. It is about 50 minutes from our Stanegate Cottage in Northumberland to Seaton Sluice.
As the tide was out we were able to go onto the island via the causeway footpath. On the way back we stopped for refreshments at a popular pub, The Kings Arms, which has a nice beer garden and great views of the beach/sea. The pub welcomes dogs when food isn’t being served and the beer garden is dog-friendly all of the time – it gets a lot of sun, perfect for sunny days.
